Juventus president Jean-Claude Blanc will be using the G14 meeting in Manchester to rub shoulders with Bayern Munich chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and open up dialogue for Franck Ribery.

Blanc is in England with the other European powerhouses as they discuss football matters, but his aim will be to get close to Ribery through Rummenigge.

Leggo reports Blanc will present the Germans with an idea of how Juventus wish to proceed for the French ace, and he will attempt to convince them that what he will offer is better than an eventual Real Madrid move.

He faces a tough job though as Real are using Zinedine Zidane as their middle man. But last week's board meeting at Juventus saw the club's summer transfer budget approved. Thus, Juve have the money to spend on Ribery.

Also, Blanc will use Gianluigi Buffon as bait. Previous reports in Germany claimed Bayern were keen on the goalkeeper, and the Old Lady will use him to swing the pendulum in their favour.
