There have been fresh batches of reports emerging over the past week or so, indicating Juventus’ intent on signing Arsenal’s talented right wing-back Emmanuel Eboue in the coming transfer period.
According to the very latest reports from Tuttosport, these rumors seem to have intensified recently, as the Bianconeri are said to be formulating an offer that they will present to the English club and the African born player shortly.
Eboue has a Belgian passport, which would be welcomed in Turin as he would not take up a non-EU place. Earlier reports have suggested that Bianconeri scouts have been following the African in London, and that they have reported back with some interesting news.
He is seen as a key addition to the squad, as the Italian outfit feel they are lacking in his position, with the likes of Jonathan Zebina and Zdenek Grygera who are not getting any younger, whilst the youngster Jose Martin Caceres is still seen as a gamble at this point of his career.
The player is currently contracted with the Gunners until 2011, however if there are any issues with that, then Juve may turn to their alternative option, with that being Andreas Beck of Hoffenheim.
