For his first away match since he joined Juventus as coach, Alberto Zaccheroni fielded a 3-4-2-1 formation with Legrottaglie, Cannavaro and Chiellini forming the back line and Grosso preferred to De Ceglie on the flank.

The 48th minute sees a Candreva shot go well high over the bar. One minute later, a Marchini shot is first blocked by Legrottaglie and then the same players sees Buffon saving. Two minutes later comes the last bit of action of the match with a De Ceglie shot going high over the bar.
The match ends in a 1-1, the second identical result for Zaccheroni’s Juve in as many matches since the coach from Romagna took over from Ferrara. Juve is surely a work in progress and hopefully this work will begin to pay-off from the next match against Genoa.
